Mountain Lion in Woodstock

On January 3rd I saw a mountain lion cross Rt 197 in Woodstock and continue into the woods. I was struck by how big it was! I thought they didn't live in Connecticut!!

    Katie - I saw a mountain lion cross RT 197 just west of Lyon Hill Rd about 9 years ago. His/her size amazed me, as well.

    I saw a mountain lion on route 197 in Woodstock months back too! It ran across the road in front of my car, and into the woods next to someone’s home. I thought I was seeing things!
