On May 17th approx. 11:30 am, while meeting with a representative from Anderson windows at our new home, my husband noticed something large walking down our driveway and into the woods along the side of our house. We all ran to that side of the house(inside) and looked out my daughters window where all 3 of us, (me, my husband, and the Anderson window rep) saw a large, tawny colored cat with a long tail and black tip, walking into the back yard/wooded area, about 40-50 from the house. I would say it was about 3 feet tall, and 4 feet long, and very muscular. This was on Locust Road in Harwinton. We have not had another sighting since.
