Bobcat in Thompson

Great place to report sightings! Bobcat sightings have been frequent at my mom's property in Thompson, CT - the animal has been within 10 feet of people - coming around the side of the house, while people have been sitting outside - just around the time of sunset. Bobcat just hurried on its way! Easily identified both by markings and later vocalizations. First sightings were approximately July 31st of 2010, continuing to present. Quinebaug River is approx. 1000 ft from my mom's property line; numerous coyote, rabbits, turkeys, fox, deer, skunk, opposum, and fisher cat are prevalent. Several neighbors have chickens, ducks nearby.
