Sighting in Southington CT

Our neighbor told my wife today that she saw a mother and her cubs pass through our yard in the morning last week. Our neighbor said that the lioness was a big as a Labrador Retriever. She said she was certain it was a mountain lion based on the size, color and the fact that the tail was long and curved, not like a Bobcat. She said she felt obligated to tell us because we have small dogs and little children. We live right off of Townline road in Southington on the Bristol side. There is a huge wooded field behind our house and protected wet lands across from our house in the front. This neighbor we have that reported this keeps to her self. The fact that she felt obligated to seek my wife out to tell her makes this sighting very creditable for me.
