I saw a large mountain lion/cougar in Simsbury on 5/13 at 9:15 am. It ran close by me as I was in my front yard. A few other people in the neighborhood saw it as well. I believe it was way too large to be a bobcat. It had short light tawny hair, very muscular, healthy looking, long tail, pointy ears and a big head, about 80-100 lbs. It ran through the neighborhood and into a wooded area heading west off Mountain View Drive.
