BIG CAT IN BROOKFIELD?

At 1500 on Wednesday, August 9, an overcast sky after an hour of steady rain, I was sitting in my family room when i saw a large animal, 3 times the size of a bobcat we had seen a week earlier. Long tail, 70-80 pounds, light brown color. I went to my porch to shoo it away, it took a defensive crouch and I immediately went back into my house. It casually walked over the stone wall and headed back into the woods. The woods behind our house range south to north for miles. We live about a half mile from Lake Lillinonah.
