Mountain Lion Confirmation ….
I was driving to work this morning on Mount Tobe Road in Plymouth, and had a Mountain Lion cross the road in front of me. It was dark ... 5:43 AM ... and in a semi remote area of Plymouth. I was lucky enough to catch it starting to cross the road approximatly 30 to 35 feet in front of me .... I hit the brakes and the High Beams and got a definate confirmation as to it being a mountain lion. Didnt take more than a few seconds and it was gone into the woods, but just before he entered the woods he looked right at my lights. Very exciting . This is the second Mountain Lion sighting for me. The last one was a quick glimps entering a wooded area in Wolcott 2010. I think its great that these magnificent animals are calling our areas home.

I saw a mountain lion crossing the road at around 5:45 a.m. He was very long, so was his tail. He totally took his time crossing the road and ignore my car. I saw in in the Autumn of 2012.
A friend of mine saw a cougar up on Todd Hollow road, as well. She had stopped her car to measure a piece of property and spotted the cat looking at her from the middle of a field. She said she was about 10 feet from her car and slowly walked backwards, watching the cat, and got in her car, looked back and the cat was gone.
