Mountain Lion in back yard Bantam Ct

Just saw a mountain lion in our back yard which borders a 'wet land' type area with a small creek that runs down into the pond at Mount Tom State Park. The forest is predominately hard wood with some mixed conifers, lots of brush including invasive multi flora rose. This happened at around 10:30am, the cat was large (the size of a large dog such as a golden retriever), caramel colored with a long tail. The tail was at least a couple feet in length, it was headed southeast towards Mt Tom State Park off of Rte 202 in Bantam CT. Our first siting.
