Mountain Lion RT 179
Saw A Mountain Lion cross Rt 179 in Canton today about 10:15 am. It crossed the street in front of my truck approx 100 ft in front of me, between Rustle Meadow lane and Wright road. Awesome!! tried to get a picture but phone was to slow as it ran into the woods.

I live in Canton, off of 179, near The General Store. My husband turned onto 179 and he claims a Mountain Lion crossed right in front of him one morning in March 2011. We live in a wildlife corridor and there is all kinds of wildlife hanging around!

I think it was 2010 when I saw one cross about 40 yards in front of me on my brother-in-law’s driveway on west road. No doubt in my mind what it was!
