Wilton Bob Cats
We see Bob Cats regularly in our back yard- we live on Whipstick and our six acres is the northern border of Millstone farm. The other day I found some scat which was definitely not from a deer and too large to be from a small animal. I have several good pictures of the cat walking on our neighbors property. We sometimes see them chasing rabbits in our back yard, right next to our swing set where our two year old and one year old play. I am wondering wether I should/ can trap these animals. I am concerned because we see them on a consistent basis.

Just leave the Bob Cats alone. They are probably more afraid of you then you are of them. They will move on.

I wouldnt try n trap them yourself. But if you have young children I would definitely call animal control as soon as you have another sighting of the animals. They wont hurt them they will just capture them from your property and release them into a more proper location

bobcats wont hurt children. Our mother used to check the families and count when I was young, and we often went with her to watch. She would check the cubs right in the den. She got the adults trust ahead of time, the means of which I wont publish.
