Saw a baby cougar in Newington/West Hartford today

Hi, my friend Lisa Davis and I saw a weird feline today (Nov 2 1012) around 1 p.m. It was not a housecat. Tiny head, very long tail, fading spots. It was definitely a kitten or very young animal. We were going along route 173 from Newington to West Hartford and it was at the intersection near the golf course where there is some water flowing under the cross street (Robbins Avenue). I tried to get a picture but it got away. I found a picture of a very similar animal online http://theferrett.livejournal.com/1245199.html that was a 4 month old cougar. We didn't see an adult cat or a run over one but the baby did seem upset or disoriented.
