Mountain Lions & Panthers in Woodbury CT.

I have seen 4 different mountain lions in Woodbury over the past 2 years.

The first sighting was in my backyard just before dusk. From about 100' away, I saw a huge male panther that was dark gray with shades of black, he had an enormous head. It was no dog or coyote slinking along the fields edge close to the tree line, for sure.

The second sighting was a tan colored mid sized female mountain lion that ran across my driveway in front of my vehicle, about 20' away, in the middle of the day.

The last sighting to date, was 2 juvenile tan colored mountain lions that ran one after the other, nose to long tail, across in front of my vehicle about 40' from me while coming up my street. This sighting was at night, but these cats ran right through the lighted area emitted from my vehicles' headlights. No doubt what they were !!!!!!! Not coyotes or bobcats or someones dogs !!!!!!!!!!! I have no doubt they are in CT. Educate your family and friends in Ct, they are here !!!!!!!! All these sights happened so quickly, there was no time to grab a camera. Hopefully the next time I'll have a camera readily available, to prove out the facts to the doubters......
