Cougar Sighting Near Prison in Enfield

While driving on Rt 220/Shaker Rd in Enfield around 11:30 p.m. last night, a large cat, approximately the size of a medium sized retriever crossed directly in front of my car and disappeared in the brush near the road. I was able to clearly see the cat, which was orange/tan in color with an extremely long tail. I was close to the fields near the prison when I spotted the animal. Submitted by: Lisa Butcher
