Mountain Lion Sighting in Shelton
In Shelton visiting my son and family....last night on way home at approximately 7 pm, a big cat crossed East Village Avenue right in front of us. We looked to see what it was as we went by area where it crossed street, and it was a big cat...he/she did a 180 degree turn of their head and looked right at us. It was a face of a mountain lion! It was beige in color, long and just like you see in the pictures! My son lives just about 6 blocks away.

Just saw it. I live in Stratford on Peters Lane close to the parkway and Shelton. It was slowly strolling down the lawn along my driveway a couple hundred feet away and - I called out thinking it was my 50 lb dog - it looked at me and I could see it was a cat! It moved in the next yard. The way the sun was shining I saw mostly silhouette. But my neighbor was driving down our shared driveway and he saw it too! Wow!
