back yard West Simsbury

Woke up Saturday morning to my dog growling at my second story bedroom window. Not unusual as there are often deer in the pasture behind the house. Looked out and saw what I thought was a coyote at first trotting across left to right just on the far side of my pond. About 100 feet from back of house. Put my glasses on and immediately realized what it was. Big cat with stubby tail. I'm on Old Farms road newr Farms Village and Hop Brook. By the time I go my camera phone fired up he had moved out of sight. I'm from Texas so I am no stranger to bobcats. Had no idea we had them up here.
