Lion

Saw a lion this morning cross Longmeadow Hill Road in Brookfield, Connecticut. The animal came up out of the swamp area just before the High School. I thought at first it was a coyote until I was close enough to see that it was larger than that of a coyote, it's distinctive brindle coloring, muscular hind legs and long tall.

    I saw a mountain lion today about 2 miles North from this spot in the same stretch of woods closer to New Milford…also thought it was a coyote at first but then noticed that it was moving in a cat like manner and had a very long tail that was almost touching the ground…went to get a camera and when I was back it was gone.
