Mountain lion

Off of main street in Coventry about two week ago I was next to a small stream at about 11 at night. I was peacefully enjoying the quiet and then heard a mountain lion screach and shined a light towards it and it was about 30 feet away from me crouching next to a tree slowly moving towards me. I initially ran (stupidly) about 100 yards and hopped a fence to my backyard then provided through an open window head first. The screaches followed back to my house then slowly went far away. They lasted about 20 minutes. It looked about 150 pounds, but then again Im no expert on mountain lions. I was surprised to see one In this town/state.
