Mountain lion cubs on Rt6 Watertown.

September 9, 2015 about 7:30-7:45 pm. Driving on Rt 6 aprx 1 mile past Taft school heading west toward Woodbury 1-2 tenths past a farm on the right rounding a slight bend in the road. Saw two small four legged grey/tan animals in my lane ahead but could not instantly identify them as cats, dogs, etc. Definitely not opposums, raccoons etc. I quickly slowed from 40mph to 30-20-10 because they were not drifting to the edge or acting like they were aware or cautious of my oncoming car in the least. I came so close (still trying to identify them) that I had to maneuver my car to the point of my left tire was probably on or over the yellow line by this time at now 5mph. I looked pearched in my seat through my passenger side windshield and was able to very clearly make out what animals they were. Mountain lion cubs with thier attention on something in the road to small for me to see. One cub was dead center in my lane, the other three feet closer to the edge. I was so close to them now I could see thier shape point blank, nothing but muscle from head to toe or baby fat lol. They were thick bodied and rather round with a somewhat round head. Could they have been bobcats, not mountain lions??? I don't know wildlife well enough to specify but clearly they were baby "big cats" of some kind. It all happened so fast I was in no position to get cel pictures. By the time my passenger side door was facing them I saw them both act like twin little boys playing when suddenly they energetically perked up and awkwardly bounced into the brush probably to catch up with the mother maybe a few yards away. Scary to think of potentially dangerous animals like them so close to our back yards. I did not see any spots or markings at all on thier fur, they appeared to be consistent in color, greyish tan.
