Mountain Lion in Middletown

While driving my daughter to preschool on 9-22-14 at 9:30 am a huge cat walked out and began crossing the street in front of me. The cat was the size of a dog and had leopard spots. I couldn't believe my eyes. I went home and started googling wild cats in Ct. I knew it wasn't a bobcat because of the long tail. I learned that young mountain lions still have there spots and it fit the exact description of what I saw crossing the street. This sighting was on Smith Street close to the intersection of Middle street.
