Mountain Lion in the Road

I was driving through Harwinton, CT and as I came to a stop at the intersection of South Road and Rt.222, I looked to the West and saw the mountain lion standing in the road, maybe 100 feet away. It was just standing there, looking my way. I was sure of what it was since I had seen mountain lions in Arizona. I was surprised to see one here.
