Mountain loin

In Coventry ct in the woods right across from Sam green road on main street I was just sitting next to a stream next to the road and I hear a mountain lion scream so I shine a light and there was a mountain lion about 20 feet away walking towards me from around a downed tree. It then screamed again do I made the mistake of running away like prey. I got back to my house a street away and the screams followed me back to it. I then listened to it continue making that noise for twenty minutes. This happened around 11:45pm. It looked maybe 150 pounds, and a little long too.
