big cat on white deer rock rd

I live in Middlebury by Quassy lake, today at approximately 630pm i was on my way out to dinner with my brother and mom and while driving on white deer rock rd a large cat ran across about 50 yards in front of the car. At first we thought it was a bob cat but it was too big. We believe that it was a mountain lion for sure. The cat was all tan with a light belly and was muscular, as well as a tail. Most likely between 80 to 90lbs maybe more; it looked young. My golden retriever is 70 lbs and this cat was bigger. I was surprised to see one in the area.
