  1. We live on Mud Pond Rd, right where the road crosses the bridge about the center point of the road. I’ve often seen you pedal by. Was your sighting today? (12/17/14?) And which end of Mud Pond, by Long Mountain Rd or Camp Flats?

    • Hi Dave,
I saw him near the junction of Long Mountain and Mud Pond roads. I submitted this report on that same day, but I can’t remember exactly what day that was. Probably around 12/10/14.

      • My 12 year old daughter saw a mountain lion on Apple Hill in Glastonbury. She yelled to me that there was a huge bobcat in the backyard. I came down the stairs and it was gone. I had her describe it and she was emphatic about the size (the size of our 100 lb dog) color (golden brown) and that the tail was long and thin. I had her draw what she saw and she drew a mt lion like body and tail (I was shocked). I took her upstairs and showed her pictures of fisher cats, bobcats, coyote, nothing. When I brought up the image of a mt lion she screamed “oh my God! That’s what I saw!” We called animal control and the officer did not express much doubt, especially when I gave him a copy of the sketch. This was around the first week in December 2014. I see the reports from Ledyard and do not doubt they are of the same animal.

  2. Looks like this may be one… On Indian Trail Road.
