large cat in mt sanford hamden

I was walking my dog going into the state park looking for spots for hunting season as we were walking up this small hill were there is a long pipeline clearing I happened to look up the trail and saw somthin dark in the tree line my dog was getting real nervous and whimpering I watched this for about 80 sec then all I saw was long tail poke out of the tree line and trot off into the thicket ive been hunting, camping and hiking my whole life ive never seen anything like this in person only on tv or in magazines about mountain lions this patch of woods has a small stream with fish pheasents and tons of rabbits and deer there could very well be a lion in that area or passing through if you are interested in this area to hike I recommend it, located in hamden off downs rd
