Mountain Lion in North Stonington, CT
I was driving in North Stonington, Ct on 2/17/15 at about 1:15pm. I was on Wyassup Rd. A large animal, like nothing I have ever seen before, came out of the woods into the road about 100 ft in front of my car. It was avery large cat, with a very long tail. It was at least 100 pounds, very quick and powerful. It crossed the road and leaped over a large snowbank with ease, and ran into the woods, I tried to catch up to it, but it was gone. I was stunned. I have never seen anything like it before. It was not a deer, dog or coyote or bobcat. It was amazing. Submitted by Mike Boyd

just bought a house on 6 acres on billings lake road. pretty sure i found mountain lion scat while walking the stonewall property line with my two dogs. friend’s mother says she sees a mountain lion on her way to work at foxwoods around 3:30a.m about 3 miles from foxwoods,ie cossaduck hill road. this is why i would even look the scat up on the net. it was about the size of my hand. i have a great dane mix and a great pyrenees, so i know big feces. my email is [email protected]. i took a pic of scat and can send it to you.
