Mountain Lion on Clark HIll Road Glastonbury

7/28/15 - I believe I saw a mountain lion on Clark Hill Road today. I was traveling toward Main Street and he ran across the street from the left side and down the riverbank. At first i thought it was a dog and then i saw it pounce and all the muscle movement (like a cat). It was light in color and had a long body. I read on one of the posts that they shot a mountain lion in CT somewhere...why would they kill these beautiful creatures?
