Mountain Lion

My wife and I saw a large mountain lion crossing Rte 112 at the Red Mountain Road intersection in Lime Rock, CT. We were heading east towards Lime Rock when the cat leaped across 112 from the left to right into a high patch of grasses on the north corner of the intersection. We went up Red Mountain Road but could not get a second sighting. We were asked if it had a short or long tail by a electrical crew up the road and we told them defintitely a long tail.
