Mountain Lion sighting jones hollow road Marlborough

12:45 pm on Sunday July 19. My dog jumped off the deck and ran to the fence line in my backyard. I live at the bottom of jones hollow rd in Marlborough. I quickly look up and saw a large animal trotting by my fence line. As it came through some brush I got a clear on view from about 30 feet away. Clearly a mountain lion, long tail, same size or larger than my 80 lb. Shepard hound mix. It trotted off into woods until my dog broke through the fence giving chase. The mountain sprinted and I called for my dog to stop, which luckily she did.
