Mountain lion siting new Nike fields, Shelton,CT

My husband and I were running early about 8:15AM on Saturday morning 8/23. Our route takes us down Abby Lane/Beverly Drive in Shelton near the Nike soccer fields. This is a residential area. I'm not sure if there is any bodies of water nearby. As we approached the fields on the right, a large "cat-like" animal came out of the woods. It was tan in color with rounded ears and big paws about the size of a 50lb dog. I said to my husband "what is that" and as he looked, it heard us coming and turned around and went back into the woods. It was definitely a large cat of some kind. We also turned around and ran back the other way. When we got home, we Googled what we thought we saw and came up with a picture of a mountain lion. I do not have a photo.
