rt 69 Prospect
Saw what I believe to be a mountain lion cross rt69 in Prospect late last week. It was dark but the animal appeared to glide across the road, when it turned and looked into the headlights it was apparent it was a cat, and the tail was as long as the body.

I thought I saw one a couple years ago in the same area. Started following this site after that.

I too, live in that area, and believe I saw one 2-3 weeks ago, in April. Long tail, gliding across the road where 69 meets Talmadge Hill Road.

I live at 937 Prospect Rd. (Rt.68) in the “notch” of Cheshire. At 5:40 this morning, a mountain lion walked out of the woods into my backyard. As I was scrambling for my cell phone (camera) he went away. There is no question in my mind as to it’s being a mountain lion.

Exactly the same vicinity I have seen one. They’re here no doubt about it. I have set up a dash cam as well as game cameras. Am determined to get a pic!
