Mountain lion in Brookfield?

6pm on August 25 on Farview Road, Brookfield, a very large darkish tan cat with a very long thick tail that appears to match pictures of mountain lions was spotted walking down the middle of the road. It definitely looked like it was in the cat family, but not as big as a full grown mountain lion, maybe about 2.5+ foot long and not quite as tall. Tail was not quite as long as the body. It turned into a vacant overgrown lot so I couldn't get a picture before it disappeared into the brush.
