Mountain Lion in

At 7:30 a.m. on 2/18/16, I spotted what appeared to be a Mountain Lion my backyard in Storrs Mansfield, just beyond the fenced in area where I have 4 toy size dogs. The animal went inside the red dog house outside of the fenced in area and then came out of it and stood on the rock, glaring at me before she decided to gallivant away.

Our backyard is a very wooded area with Coopers Hawks living up in the trees. Nearby water is across the street, pond like areas. Animal appeared to be a light tan color with a long tail with a black slanted angled tip. Submitted by Julie Dumond
