Mountain Lion Sighting in Middlefield

I was driving home from work on 7/8/15 at 4:45 on Cedar Street and in front of me crossed an animal. I immediately noticed it was not a deer or a coyote or a dog but a big cat. It had a very thick tail reaching to the ground and curling up a little at the end. It had thicker fur legs and they were longer than my german shepherd with a beautiful tan/brownish redish color. I pulled over to the side of the road to see if I could get an even better glimpse of it but it had gone into the brush. I went home and looked up this cat and there it was a picture of a Mountain Lion and that is what I saw. A couple days earlier at night my GS was barking and pacing at about midnight so I took a flash light and saw something eating some scraps of food that I had put outside away from the house and what I could positively identify was the exact same tail, legs, sleek thicker body - Mountain Lion. This Big Cat has been spotted at several other locations in Middlefield over the past couple of months. They are beautiful animals
